EzTool charges a 10% platform fee — the lowest in the tool rental industry. Listers receive 90% of every rental fee. There are no listing fees and no monthly subscriptions. Deposits are charged upfront at booking and refunded automatically on safe return.
Every rental includes a digital rental agreement signed with the renter's typed full name. Renters upload a government-issued ID at booking, visible to the lister. The rental agreement covers full replacement liability, loss, theft, and indemnity. Damage and loss claims are handled through a structured claim flow, with the deposit retained by the lister in case of damage.
EzTool payouts are processed via Stripe Connect, deposited directly to the lister's bank account. Renters can browse tools at eztool.rentals/tools. Tool owners can list at eztool.rentals/list-tool.
